FIELD: transport engineering; electric traction vehicles. SUBSTANCE: proposed invention can be used for power supply of low voltage control, emergency, lighting and signaling circuits. Device for power supply of low-voltage circuits of urban vehicles has storage battery to plus terminal of which low-voltage circuits, isolating diode and capacitor are connected. One terminal of capacitor is connected to minus terminal of storage battery, and other terminal, through isolating diode, to plus terminal of battery. Part of low- voltage circuits designed to provide emergency braking is connected between positive terminal of capacitor and isolating diode and is furnished with limiting resistor made in form of parallel-connected fixed-value resistor and temperature-sensitive resistor connected between plus terminal storage battery and isolating diode. EFFECT: increased service life, decreased required capacity of storage battery, improved reliability of low voltage circuits, especially at emergency braking. 2 dwg
