FIELD: transport engineering; parking brake linkages.
SUBSTANCE: proposed lever of parking brake linkage contains housing inside which control lever and ratchet wheel with sheave are fitted on one axle and connected with linage of brake mechanism. Sheave is installed on ratchet wheel with eccentricity. Locking pawl and control pawl found in control lever are in meshing with ratchet wheel. Locking pawl is rigidly connected with lever made for mating with wall of control lever. Linkage lever is furnished with ratchet wheel impact damper with double life rubber buffer, device to regulate extreme lower position of control lever and brake applied signaling unit with rocking flag and pressure-type contact switch. Provision is made for damping of ratchet wheel at releasing of brake mechanism, possibility of adjustment of extreme lower position of lever and indication of brake applied state of brake system and reduced force on control knob at releasing of mechanism.
EFFECT: improved reliability of linkage.
