FIELD: ship handling; control of sea-going ship motion.
SUBSTANCE: proposed system has course angle sensor (1) and setter (2), angular velocity sensor (3) and rudder angle sensor (4) whose outputs are connected to inputs of adder-amplifier (5) whose output is connected with input of steering gear (6). System is also provided with unit (8) having dead zone, first and second diodes, first and second electromagnetic relays, first setting unit (13) and second setting unit (14). Outputs of course angle sensor and setter are connected to inputs of unit having dead zone whose output is connected via first diode with control winding of first relay whose normally-open contact group connects the input of adder-amplifier with output of first setting unit. Input of adder-amplifier is connected via normally-open contact group of second relay with output of second setting unit; input of control winding of second relay is connected via second diode with output of unit having dead zone.
EFFECT: enhanced operational efficiency of control system within entire range of measurement of course angles.
