FIELD: systems for control of spacecraft medium parameters; scientific experiments and technological procedures carried out on board spacecraft.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes monitoring of pressure in pressurized chambers of spacecraft both inside and outside, monitoring of pressure in pressurized compartment where chambers are located, comparison of pressure in pressurized chambers with preset magnitude, relief of gas mixture from chambers in case of excess of pressure above preset level or pressurizing with gas mixture in case of drop of pressure. For forming high vacuum, gas mixture is relieved through vacuum pipeline of adjustable length brought out to space vacuum zone far away from spacecraft case. System proposed for realization of this method includes pressure and vacuum sensors, valves fitted in pressurization line and in main relief line, quick detachable joints and control units for heaters and gas relief units. One part of gas relief units consisting of electric valves is located inside spacecraft and other part containing heaters and temperature sensors is located outside spacecraft. System is provided with gas supply unit and additional gas relief line mounted in parallel with main relief line. On one side, additional line is connected to pressurized chamber inlets and on other side it is connected to main relief line. Provision is also made for preliminary gas scavenging line which is located inside spacecraft and is connected to main relief line between additional line and two emergency valves. Mounted on outlet of one of them is vacuum pipeline of adjustable length provided with vacuum sensor; mounted on outlet of other is vacuum attachment.
EFFECT: extended functional capabilities; improved service characteristics; enhanced economical efficiency.
