FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method use is made of catalytic coatings on surfaces of parts of engine combustion chamber in which catalyst containing following composition of compounds, mass %, is used: serpentine 77 - 86; chlorite 2-3; magnetite 1-2; amphibole 1.5-2; amakinite 1-2; magnesite 1a2; calcite 0.5-1. Roentgen amorphous phase 8-10.
EFFECT: reduced toxicity of exhaust gases.
