FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used as rotary gate high-pressure machine with uniform volumetric feed which can operate as a pump or as a hydraulic motor. Proposed machine contains rotor with working and support parts connected by power chambers of adjustable length to provide synchronous rotation at relative axial displacements and tiltings required to provide sliding isolating contact of end face surfaces of working and support parts of rotor with surfaces of working and support covers of housing, respectively. Gates are arranged in gate chambers of working part of rotor, and in process of rotation of rotor they cyclically change their extension into ring slot made on end face surface of rotor working part. Support spaces made between support cover of housing and support part of rotor communicate hydraulically through means equalizing local pressures with power chambers of adjustable length and spaces of working chamber in ring slot of working part of rotor. Support spaces and power chamber of adjustable length are made so that pressure forces of working liquid enclosed in said power chambers equalize materially working liquid pressure forces moving working and support parts of rotor from working and support covers of housing providing required insulation pressure.
EFFECT: reduced losses for friction and cavitation, improved reliability of rotary gate machines.
