FIELD: mechanical engineering; rotary machines; compressors.
SUBSTANCE: proposed roller-vane compressor has housing with working medium inlet and outlet channels, rotor and rollers-separators placed in housing to form spaces between rotor, rollers-separators and housing and supports and sealing units. Each sealing unit contains high-pressure stage, low-pressure stage and non-contact sealing stage. Low-pressure stage communicates with atmosphere, and high - pressure stage through additional channel made in housing communicates with one of spaces formed by rotor, rollers-separators and housing, and non-contact sealing stage is provided with ring-ridge with grooves. According to proposed method, to relieve rotor of roller-vane compressor from axial forces, gas is fed from high pressure space to stage of high pressure of seal unit and is directed through non-contact seal to low-pressure space from which it let out to provided pressure in low-pressure space within 0.02-0.05 atm. gauge.
EFFECT: reliable sealing of compressor housing along output shaft, effective of rotor from axial forces.
