SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil control rings installed on pistons of internal combustion engines and compressors. Proposed oil control device of cylinder-piston group has box-section steel ring in piston groove with upper and lower scrapers whose working surfaces are made conical with vertices of cones pointed upwards and expander placed in between and made in form of split ring member with side working surface provided with barrel-shape projections in contact with cylinder surface. height of projections is not less than clearance between cylinder and piston. Lower scraper of ring is made tilted on form of cone with vertex pointed upwards. Periodical round or oval holes are made over circumference of mating of lower tilted scraper and vertical wall of ring. Longitudinal axes of oval holes should be located over circumference of axis of mating.
EFFECT: reduced oil burning losses owing to provision of effective removal of excess oil from surface of cylinder.
