FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: piston assembly consists of oil ring 1 with radial flat multiangular expander 2 and inertia element 3. Inertia element 3 has groove 4 into which oil ring 1 with expander 2 is inserted. Inertia element 3 together with oil ring 1 and expander 2 is located on piston cavity 5 of piston 6. Surface of upper end 7 of piston cavity 5, which also represents a cone the vertex of which is directed to lower dead point. Surface of upper ring 8 of inertia element 3 contacts the surface of upper end 7 of piston cavity 5, which also represents a cone the vertex of which is directed to lower dead point. Inertia element 3 consists of two sections - two semi-rings 10 and 11, which are fixed in free form with ring 1 and expander 2. The new feature is that upper end 8 of inertia element 3 and upper end 7 of piston cavity 5 represent conic surfaces contacting between each other; at that, vertexes of conic surfaces are directed to lower dead point. This allows the movement of sections 10 and 11 of inertia element 3 in piston cavity 5 relative to oil ring 1 in radial direction under action of inertia force of inertia element 3 itself and friction force of oil ring 1, which automatically controls the pressure of ring 1 on cylinder mirror.
EFFECT: reduction of oil consumption for coal gas by providing effective removal of oil from cylinder surface.
