FIELD: the invention refers to systems of ensuring safety using electromagnetic radiation for sounding of the investigated space particularly to systems of remote detection of objects concealed under cloth of the people passing inspection.
SUBSTANCE: it is necessary to choose a working spectral diapason of sounding electromagnetic radiation depending on character thinness and dielectric penetrability of the sought object. The part of the surface of the body is scanned with electromagnetic radiation of the working diapason. A reflected signal is received and a phase and/or amplitude of the received signal measured. According to the results of comparison of data received from different parts of the scanned surface between themselves or availability or absence of a strange object on the body of the man is defined according to the result of comparison of received data with the standard.
EFFECT: increases reliability of detection.
