SUBSTANCE: by radiation, reflection and registration of microwaves, a three-dimensional image of the object of interest can be obtained. In the image there will be a contour of a moving person, as well as dielectric objects hidden on his body. By measuring the phase and amplitude of microwaves reflected from a dielectric object, one can determine the length of the optical path of microwaves passing through a hidden object, which will allow obtaining a three-dimensional image of the area of the hidden object. At the same time, several radiators and receivers can be used, it is also possible to overlay a video image on the microwave image.
EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of detection of potentially dangerous or explosive substances hidden under clothing or in luggage.
