FIELD: printing system.

SUBSTANCE: device has interface for conducting direct communications with printer and replaceable recording environment and receives image data transfer request from printer for printing, aforementioned request including identifier, which determines data of image stored in replaceable recording environment, and dispatches the image determined by identifier to printer. Device contains a transformation block for creating new list of printing requests, in which file name description is transformed to description expressed by identifier, when image provision device may directly communicate with printer via interface, and when a list of printing requests is present in recording environment, describing the name of image file to be printed; and device for transferring new list of printing requests, transformed by transformation means, into printer.

EFFECT: possible transfer and printing of image in system, which transfers image data by means of identifier during receipt of a printing requests list, described by image file name.
