FIELD: recording system which has device for providing images, such as a digital camera, recording device, image provision device and methods for controlling communication between these devices.

SUBSTANCE: recording system contains recording device, means for providing an image and universal interface. Recording device contains device for receiving first request from image provision device, first device for transmitting first response, which corresponds to first request, to image provision device and second transmitting device for transmitting second request instead of first response to image provision device. In case when digital camera is incapable of understanding and recognizing a request, received from printer, camera ignores and drops received request, and transmits a command, which does not include user or printing operation instructions, to printer instead of correct response to request. In this case the printer receives this command as response to request and determines, that request, dispatched by printer, may not be received by camera.
