FIELD: manufacturing processes, namely protection devices for cutting tools, for example jackets for saw webs.
SUBSTANCE: jacket includes casing for cutting edge having clamping jaws and made as one-piece shape of polymeric material. Casing is provided with lock for fixing web by means of clamping jaws. Lock is made of the same polymeric material as one piece with casing and it forms closed contour with bottom of casing. Bottom of casing has thinned portion; lock includes two thinned portions for releasing saw web out of jacket. All said portions are arranged along shape.
EFFECT: possibility for comfortable use of jacket, enhanced reliability of jacket fixation.
