FIELD: machine engineering, possibly grinding blades of turbine rotor or compressor.

SUBSTANCE: grinding machine tool includes rotating table for rotor and head with two grinding wheels; apparatus for individual dressing of each wheel and electronic control unit. The last includes number program control circuit for controlling rotor, head and individual dressing apparatus. Control unit interacts with optical system designed for measuring rotor blade radius to be corrected. Head is mounted on rotary carriage and on two linear carriages. Movements of head are calculated while taking into account diameter values of two grinding wheels and diagonal spacing between their surfaces. Electronic control unit and optical system provide detection of burrs on blades at grinding them. Unit for linear motion of each tool of apparatus for individual dressing is in the form of supporting carriage. Dressing apparatus provides automatic motion of tools and dressing of grinding wheel depending upon continuous detection by means of optical system of burrs without interrupting grinding process.

EFFECT: improved efficiency of machine tool operation.
