FIELD: drilling and blasting operations in hard rocks, applicable in various branches of industry using blasting operations in hard rocks.
SUBSTANCE: the mechanical stemming is made in the form of a metal cylinder having tapered expansions with several rows of bulges on the outside and at least three longitudinal slots in the lower part. The metal brace cone with an inner cavity is located in the tapered expansion, linked with a tubular tie-rod having holes and a thread on the upper end for a nut, and freely passing through the axial duct of the mantle ring linked with the metal cylinder. A lock bush with a lock is installed above the mantle ring for placement in the holes of the tubular tie ring, through which the initiating impulse conductor is laid, and a spring is installed above the lock bush between the upper and lower bearing washers.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of blast crushing of rocks due to a complete locking of the detonation products in the charge cavity up to the moment of complex destruction of the surrounding rock.
