FIELD: production of petroleum bitumen; oil refining industry; production of compounded bitumen.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes mixing of oxidized bitumen with residual petroleum non-oxidized products at elevated temperature. Used as residual non-oxidized products are: tar oil - fraction at 500°C of end of boiling, distillate fraction at 480-610°C - slop and extract of selective cleaning of residual oil fraction at the following ratio of components, mass-%: tar oil, 1-5; slop, 4-20; extract, 5-25; the remainder being oxidized bitumen to 100. The components are mixed in the following succession: tar oil, slop, extract; then, oxidized bitumen is added to this three-component mixture.
EFFECT: improved quality of bitumen due to reduced Fraas brittleness temperature; increased penetration and adhesion indices; increased assortment of bitumen.
