FIELD: oil industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil refining, in particular, to a method of producing road bitumen. Method comprises vacuum distillation of fuel oil to obtain weighted tar, separation of obtained material into two streams, first of which enters oxidation column, and the second is mixed with obtained in this column oxidised bitumen in weight ratio with weighted tar from 90:10 to 70:30 to produce a product with depth of penetration of needle at 25 °C 40–200⋅0.1 mm depending on commercial bitumen. At that vacuum distillation of fuel oil is carried out at residual pressure of column top 10–30 mm Hg. article, and obtained during vacuum distillation weighted tar is mixed with distillate fractions, darkened with vacuum fraction with boiling range 410–610 °C and heavy vacuum gasoil with boiling range of 360–560 °C in weight ratio of 60:15:25 to 92:5:3 to produce mixed raw materials and carry out process of oxidation of mixed raw materials at temperature of 230–240 °C.

EFFECT: technical result consists in obtaining road bitumen in conditions of deep extraction of vacuum distillate from fuel oil of any structural-group composition, as well as high efficiency of effecting process conditions on the quality of bitumen.
