FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves making irregular shape skin incision and pre- and excising paratracheal cellular tissue. Trachea stump bed is built by lifting lower cervical incision edge above the sternum and making an opening in lower flaps. The opening size and shape match the trachea stump edge size and shape. The incision is done between trachea semirings in its anterior portion along the stump edge with interannular ligament being retained. Tongue-shaped flap is formed from membranous part. The stump edges are placed into built opening lumen and traceal interannular ligament and tongue-shaped flap taken from membranous part are sutured along opening perimeter to skin.
EFFECT: forming tracheostoma in one stage without destroying tracheal semirings integrity.
