FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves cutting out tongue-shaped cellulocutaneous flap with feeding limb directed to larynx, in jugular fossa along the neck median line. Pretracheal muscles are exsected corresponding to the flap dimensions. The trachea is pulled out into the skin wound. A portion of thyroid gland neck is exsected corresponding to the adipocutaneous flap dimensions. Transverse incision is made with scalpel of the anterior tracheal wall between the first and the second cartilaginous rings. Two or three cartilaginous rings are vertically cut from top to down with scissors from the transverse incision ends on tracheal lumen side. The tracheal flap is sutured to the main neck fascia, cellulocutaneous flap is sutured to upper edge of the trachea wound. The lateral edges of the skin wound are sutured to the tracheostoma edges. Constant size of tracheostoma hole is provided due to pretracheal muscles and thyroid gland neck being absent. Being transferred on the neck, the trachea is attached to the skin wound edges in new position with cellulocutaneous and tracheal flaps. EFFECT: prevented shrinking of the tracheostoma opening.
