FIELD: in mining, building industry branches, agriculture and other branches for separation of loose materials by density, size and shape of particles.
SUBSTANCE: air separator for dry separation includes housing mounted on carrying frame and having preparation chamber and chambers for separation of large and fine particles of material, meter, blowers, inclined set of planes arranged in preparation chamber, discharging units with wells for accumulating large and fine particles. Housing and preparation chamber are cylindrical ones. Chambers for separation are arranged around preparation chamber and they are in the form of mutually touching sectors of cylinders having radially arranged vertical walls. Inclined set of planes is in the form of set of flattened truncated-cone air rings with monotonously increasing diameters, while inclination angle of generatrix of said truncated cone exceeds angle of rest of separated material. Said cone flattened rings have convex-concave radial section in order to provide increased speed of laminar flow of air along their upper surfaces. Discharging units for large and fine particles have in upper portions branch pipes communicated with inner cavities of ring-like tubular conveyers having outer discharging openings. Along perimeter of chamber for separating fine particles there is air-suction off chamber to which blowers are connected. Along boundary of air suction off chamber and chamber for separating fine particle filter is mounted; web of said filter is joined with vibrators through ring-like plates with annular ribs.
EFFECT: improved effectiveness of particle separation, enhanced specific efficiency of apparatus.
