FIELD: building, mining industry branches, agriculture and other industry branches for separating loose materials by density, fraction size and shape of particles.

SUBSTANCE: chamber type air separator for dry separation includes cylindrical housing and cylindrical preparation chamber. Chambers for separating large and fine particles of materials are arranged around preparation chamber and they are in the form mutually touching cylinder sectors with radially arranged vertical walls. Inclined cascade of planes is formed of set of flattened cone rings with monotonously increased diameters in the form of truncated cone having inclination angle of its generatrix exceeding angle of rest of separated material. Metering device is provided with centrifugal spreader coaxially mounted on upper base of truncated cone and unit for suppressing speed of material particles made in the form of shell arranged around centrifugal spreader with annular gap. Discharging devices with wells for collecting large and fine fractions are provided in their lower part with branch pipes communicated with inner cavity of ring-like tubular conveyers having discharge hoppers at outlet. Over chambers for separating large and fine particles of materials air suction off chamber is placed. Exhaust fans are communicated through air conduits with suction off chamber. Between suction off chamber and chambers for separating large and fine particles of material cone-like stabilizing grid formed of radial ribs mutually joined through ring-like shells is arranged. Lower part of preparation chamber is connected with cyclone whose inlet tangential branch pipes through air conduits are connected with outlet branch pipes of exhaust fans.

EFFECT: improved specific efficiency of separator, enhanced effectiveness of particle separation.
