SUBSTANCE: the present innovation refers to compositions for maintaining cardio-vascular system and/or vessels in healthy state, moreover, they contain efficient quantity of monomer and/or oligomer of cacao procyanidin and efficient quantity of cholesterol-decreasing reagent based upon sterol and/or stanol, and it, also, refers to the methods to maintain vascular system in healthy state including therapy and prophylaxis of atherosclerosis and cardio-vascular disease. The innovation provides enhanced impact upon the state of mammalian cardio-vascular system, human cardio-vascular system, in particular, against previously known compositions at treating and preventing atherosclerosis and cardio-vascular diseases.
