FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves examining abdominal aorta and its visceral branches with angiography techniques being applied. Radiopaque preparation is introduced into peripheral vein in bolus dose of 80-100 ml, which concentration is equal to 300 mg/100 ml. Introduction rate is equal to 3-4 ml/s. The study is carried out with computer-based tomography. Scanning is carried out in axial projection in spiral mode with tomography step being equal to 2 mm. Mesenterial blood vessels, celiac trunk, renal arteries and abdominal aorta images are transformed into spatial reconstructive image of the abdominal aorta and its visceral branches.
EFFECT: high accuracy of diagnosis; reduced radiation dose.
