METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING HIGH ALTERNATING CHROMOTE SYNDROME IN PATIENTS AFTER OPERATIONS ON AORTOPAIAL SEGMENT Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC A61B5/00 A61B6/03

Abstract RU 2748896 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to angiology, vascular surgery, radiology, and can be used to diagnose high intermittent claudication syndrome in patients after operations on the aorto-iliac segment. The average velocity of blood flow in the gluteal muscles is determined. At the same time, the average blood flow velocity in the gluteal muscles is determined by perfusion computed tomography of the pelvis before and after surgery when clinical signs of high intermittent claudication syndrome appear. The rate of blood flow at the level of the upper, middle and lower boundaries of the scan zone in the structure of the middle and gluteus maximus muscles on both sides with an area of interest of 500-550 mm2 is measured. With a decrease in the average blood flow rate in the gluteal muscles, a syndrome of high intermittent claudication is diagnosed.

EFFECT: invention provides non-invasive diagnosis of high intermittent claudication syndrome in patients after operations on the aorto-iliac segment by quantifying the blood flow velocity in the gluteal muscles.
