FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: method of cleaning a gas medium in a sealed facility with regeneration of oxygen includes replenishing oxygen spent on breathing in the sealed facility and absorbing carbon dioxide from the gas medium with an absorbent. The method differs from the existing method in that the gas medium is cleaned by placing a regenerative product in a sealed volume, said product being enclosed in a gas-permeable shell which is inert to a regenerative absorbent, made in the form of plates of a regenerative chemical product based on an alkali metal superoxide which releases oxygen upon reaction with moisture and carbon dioxide.

EFFECT: high efficiency of cleaning a gas medium and a method characterised by simplicity and reliability.
