SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to protection of respiratory system and can be used in manned sealed facility with regeneration of air. Method of purifying gas medium in sealed facility includes replenishment in sealed facility of the consumable during respiration oxygen, absorption of carbon dioxide from gas medium by absorber. Purification of gas medium is performed by placing in a sealed volume of carbon dioxide absorber, which applied onto a substrate or in the form of plates or strip is fixed on the substrate and subjected to rotary or reciprocating movement. Device for cleaning gas medium in sealed facility, containing placed in sealed object absorber of carbon dioxide and oxygen supply line. Carbon dioxide absorbent is fixed on the substrate, connected via intermediate element with drive rotational or reciprocating movement.

EFFECT: technical result consists in ensuring more complete working off of carbon dioxide absorber and simplification of maintenance and simple design and reducing power consumption of air cleaning.
