FIELD: processes and apparatuses for hydraulically expanding tubes.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of creating pressure in supplied fluid with use of lubricating oil for hydraulic systems through fluid separator and hydraulic actuator. Apparatus includes fluid separator; pressure hydraulic actuator and probe with seals. Pressure is created in supplied fluid by means of fluid separator and pressure hydraulic actuator by means of lubricating oil for hydraulic systems. Main material of probe is 34CrNiMo6. Maximum number of expansions is determined while taking into account deformations of expanded tubes.
EFFECT: enhanced operational reliability of apparatus.
