FIELD: the invention refers to the physics of the Earth.

SUBSTANCE: the essence is in that with the aid of a radiolocation installation with near located radiating and receiving arrangements holding in its composition horizontal magnetic dipoles, an impulse generator of magnetic moments in the radiating arrangement and a Squid-magnetometer on the basis of Josephson's effect and magnetic induction Bz in the receiving arrangement it is necessary to measure the angle of the turning of the plane of polarization of signal on its way to reflecting frontier in the bottom of the investigated horizon or in it or back in the medium of magnetic induction Bz coinciding with the direction of propagation of the signal. Then the field of the investigated horizon containing the way of the signal in series in several stages with more forceful field are magnetized in a constant magnetic field in vertical direction the reverse to proposed with the aid of a vertical magnetic dipole. Simultaneously the angle of the turning of the plane of polarization till the moment when the angle of the plane of polarization of the signal becomes equal to zero or minimal. This means coincidence of the average value under formation by a magnetic bias of magnetic induction ΔBz if at different values of increasing ΔBz of the angle of turning of the plane of polarization would be proportional to increases of the magnetic bias.

EFFECT: possibility of remote definition from the surface of the Earth.
