FIELD: solid fuel combustion technologies.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technologies of treating solid fuel combustion mineral residues before passing the to waste storage area, in particular ashes containing significant amounts of lime, e.g. high-calcium ashes from combustion of coals and shales. Invention is also applicable to store disperse mineral wastes possessing binding properties. Process comprises mixing ashes with water at ratio 0.6-1.5, transportation of water-ash mix through pipelines to ash-disposal area, and mechanical activation of mix in a rotor-type apparatus with variable rotor rotation speed followed by directing the mix to waste storage area by means of centrifugal pump. Activation of mix employs rotor-type device including snail-shaped and rotor wheel, on which radial blades are mounted. Transportation of mix to ash-disposal area involves use of centrifugal pump with constant rotor wheel rotation speed. During activation the mix is supplemented by admixtures controlling flowability and setting times of the mix.
EFFECT: increased reliability of ash removal process and reduce operational expenses.
