FIELD: devices taking radial thrusts of shaft being realigned upon its uncoupling.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device has annular support 4 around shaft 2 and journal bearing 5 rigidly joined with annular support. Bearing inner race 9 is spaced from shaft through clearance J and has two racks or two teeth 14a, 14b held in normal working position on periphery of two blocks 16a, 16b mounted on shaft 2. Two sets of balls 28a, 28b rest in normal working position on bottom parts of seats 25, 26 arranged in opposition in adjacent radial sides of blocks 16a, 16b and inner race 9. Flexible members 20 create force tending to move blocks 16a, 16b toward each other. In case of destruction of racks or teeth 14a, 14 b due to heavy beats balls 28a, 28b roll over walls of blocks 25, 26 and drive apart blocks 16a, 16b. Flexible means 20 tend to return balls 28a, 28b to bottom parts of seats and to realign shaft 2 relative to inner race 9.
