FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of dynamic control of position of head-light beam at cornering and device for implementing the method. Proposed method includes determination of instantaneous angle of tiling of vehicle platform relative to roadbed by measuring instantaneous values of acceleration in two relatively perpendicular directions, calculation of angle of tilting, determination and minimizing the error in angle of platform tilting by drive with actuating mechanism. In process of implementing the method, angular velocity of platform in vertical plane perpendicular to direction of movement is measured and instantaneous value of accelerations of platform in vertical and horizontal side direction is determined. Basing on obtained data, calculated are angle of vehicle tilting, instantaneous angle of correction, value of centripetal acceleration and coefficient of correction proportional to centripetal acceleration, calibration of zero position of platform is carried out and having taken into account obtained results, stabilization of platform position in horizontal plane is accomplished.
EFFECT: improved accuracy of control of headlight beam position, reduced power taken for control.
