FIELD: producing laser range-finder jamming; various radiator using techniques.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method for producing range-finding laser means jamming includes setting of optical noise in definite area of space wherein ghost signal source is installed on protected equipment to reflect part of enemy's laser range-finder signal in opposite direction at low divergence angle and fixed time delay resulting in unwanted operation of enemy's range-finder toward enhanced range. Device implementing proposed method has lens and radiator mounted on protected equipment; radiator is made in the form of fiber-optic harness with transceiving platform on one end that functions to receive radiation from optical system and with mirror on other end to re-reflect this radiation.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability and quality of distortions introduced in true range.
