FIELD: power metallurgy, possibly manufacture of elongated products of metallic powders.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of forming pressed piece from initial powder; sintering it in reduction atmosphere for achieving closed porosity in it; after sintering performing gas extrusion in inert medium; at pushing blank through drawing die heated till temperature lower than temperature of recrystallization starting of blank metal, locally heating deformation region. It is possible to produce elongated articles with relation of their length to diameter exceeding 100, with nano-crystal structure and enhanced properties.
EFFECT: possibility for producing elongated articles with improved properties.
