FIELD: measuring technique.

SUBSTANCE: sensor comprises hollow housing that receives the weight and is made of a telescopic sleeve composed of sections provided with opening for the rope connected with the weight for permitting weight affecting the rope to be gradually decreased once the sections touch the material surface. The sections of the telescopic sleeve are shaped into cylinder or cone. The weight of the sensor can be made of a single section of the telescopic sleeve. The height of the telescopic sleeve increases or decreases toward the periphery. The bottom face of at least one section, preferably peripheral section, is sharpened. The bottom faces of the sections of the telescopic sleeve are provided with thickenings.

EFFECT: enhanced precision.
