FIELD: measurement technology: measurement of coal dust level. SUBSTANCE: method consists in using rope with plumb at the end; rope is secured on drum connected with electric motor. Plumb moves downward by gravity and is hoisted by means of electric motor. Moment of contact of plumb with surface of material is recorded by drop of current generated in winding of electric motor armature. Level is determined by number of pulses generated in armature winding before moment of contact. EFFECT: enhanced reliability and accuracy of measurement. 1 dwg
