METHOD FOR DETERMINING PARAMETERS OF CONTROL PLOTS IN SETTING OF FARM CROP YIELD ON ROUND IRRIGATED FIELD Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC A01B79/02 

FIELD: field tests in irrigated agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: method involves providing allotments, process paths and protective zones; dividing round irrigated field into twelve angular sectors equal in size; providing in one of said sectors central ray from center of field to peripheral part; determining boundaries of track from below supports of multiple-tower circle sprinkler machine relative to said ray; setting boundaries of plots between adjacent tracks; setting coordinates of center of gravity of planar figure in plot formed as circular sector; aligning geometrical center of each rectangular plot with center of gravity of plot; reducing ratio of plot side oriented along ray to side perpendicular to ray from round field center to its periphery from 1:20-1:25 to 0.25-0.20:1, with areas of plots being of the same size; positioning geometrical center of each plot in repetitions between adjacent tracks with minimum distance from center of gravity of plot.

EFFECT: uniform moistening on plots, reduced number of discarded plots and provision for producing of reliable data in field tests.
