FIELD: agricultural engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed melon collector contains frame, roll-up device, closed chain circuit whose lifting chain is tilted to side opposite to direction of motion, and transport belt enclosing chain circuit from outer side and elastic blades rigidly coupled with chain circuit and transport belt. Roll-up device is main of form of chain circuit. Elastic belt and blades are attached to links of chain of chain circuit at pitch exceeding maximum size of picked up melons. Outer edge of blade is bent to side of direction of motion at collecting process and is provided with melon knocker.
EFFECT: reduced damage to melons at collecting, increased capacity and operation reliability.
