FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: protective body (1) for a vane cannula (2) consists of following elements, having substantially U-shaped transverse section: longitudinally elongated lower cap (4) and longitudinally elongated upper cap (3), which are made with possible closure with forming of single block of body after insertion of wings of vane cannula (2). The device also contains guiding grooves (9) for wings, formed on both sides of the body by free gaps between mutually adjacent vertical side walls (6,7) of caps (3,4), and a spring fastening means (17), positioned in front of permanent fixation position (II) for mounting of vane cannula (2) from at least one of side walls (6,7) of cap, with spring fixation means (17) entering one of the guiding grooves (9).
EFFECT: possible simple handling, so that there is no need to overcome any resistance during extraction of vane cannula and extraction of cannula may be performed in position of constant fixation outside the vein.
