FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device for evacuating people from high-rise structures contains a cabin, made in form of jointly folding platform with elastic, closed, self-inflating perimeter enclosure. The cabin in its non-working state is positioned in a recess in lower part of window frame. On the ends of platform, telescopic carrying elements are mounted with limited range, jointly connected to carrying beams and the platform. Along the carrying beams, cables are fastened, connected through blocks, mounted in upper part of window opening, with self-braking winches, positioned in lower part of window opening. On the surface of the platform a lifting bar is fastened for detaching the platform.
EFFECT: possible independent evacuation of groups of people from different floors.
