FIELD: chemical industry; ceramic industry; other industries; methods of production of the amorphous mesoporous aerogel of the aluminum hydroxide with the laminated-fibrous microstructure.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the method of production of the amorphous mesoporous aluminum hydroxide with the laminated-fibrous microstructure and may be used in ceramic industry, in production of the sorbents, the catalytic agents and their carriers, and also the heat-insulating, industrial-rubber and some polymeric materials. The method of production of the amorphous mesoporous aerogel of the aluminum hydroxide with the laminated-fibrous microstructure includes realization of the reaction of synthesis of the amorphous aluminum hydroxide in the airproof container by treatment of the gallic-aluminum melt with the gaseous mixture on the basis of the inert or the low-activity gas with the steam at the steam contents of 1-30 vol.% at the temperature of 50-150°С. Before the reaction of the synthesis of the amorphous aluminum hydroxide they conduct treatment of the gallic-aluminum melt with the distilled water at the mass ratio of the gallic-aluminum melt to the distilled water of 100:1 and the initial contents of the aluminum in a gallic-aluminum melt of 0.2-0.4 mass %. Then the container is sealed and during the reaction of the synthesis of the amorphous aluminum hydroxide they realize the injection of the gaseous mixture under the level of the gallic-aluminum melt in the film mode ensuring the outlet of the reactants on the surface of the melt without formation of the bubbles of the gaseous mixture. The produced amorphous aerogel of the aluminum hydroxide is subjected to the thermal treatment in the open air at the temperature of 300°С. The invention allows to improve the quality of the produced aluminum hydroxide.
