FIELD: electrophoretic molding of ceramic articles form aqueous slips.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes pouring of slip into space formed by porous mold with electrode-anode and metal core-cathode, holding of slip in mold for 5-30 minutes, electrophoretic deposition of crock on anode at passing the electric current through slip at density of 0.0005-0.005 A/cm2, holding the molded blank for 30-90 minutes, withdrawal of metal core and removal of casting from mold.
EFFECT: improved quality of large-sized complex ceramic articles; increased productivity.
