FIELD: biotechnology, microbiology, food processing industry, agriculture, etc, in particular production of ice-forming inducing microbial protein.

SUBSTANCE: claimed medium contains (g/l): disubstituted potassium phosphate 1.98-2.42; monosubstituted potassium phosphate 1.53-1.87; magnesium sulfate 0.54-0.66; sodium hyposulphite 0.54-0.66; and balance: fermentative casein hydrolyzate containing 135-145 mg% of amine nitrogen; and 5-20 vol.% of perfluoran. Perfluoran introducing improves properties of nutrient broth for deep cultivation of ice-forming bacteria such as Pseudomonas fluorescens.

EFFECT: increased yield of ice-forming inducing microbial protein.
