FIELD: forensic medicine and clinical toxicology.
SUBSTANCE: method of determining morphine poisoning on corpse is characterized by performing forensic-chemical examination of blood and urine. When concentration of morphine in blood is not less than 2.0 μg/ml and that in urine not less than 6.0 μg/ml, morphine poisoning is stated.
EFFECT: increased accuracy, information intensity, and reliability of statement concerning opiate poisoning gravity.
