FIELD: systems and methods for authentication of devices.
SUBSTANCE: in accordance to the invention, peripheral device, connected to main device as to authentication-requesting device, operates as device, subjected to authentication. During receipt of information connected to code, from main device, peripheral device receives call code based on received information, connected to code, generates encrypted information by encrypting the call code and transfers information, connected to usage of encryption, which is related to generated encrypted information, into main device. Information, connected to code, represents part of the call code and/or information, connected to usage of encryption, represents part of the encrypted information.
EFFECT: decreased loads onto communication lines and decreased amounts of transmitted information.
