FIELD: tool-making industry, possible use for street (outer) lighting of cities and towns, guarded objects, industrial workshops and rooms, shafts, in traffic light and semaphore objects.

SUBSTANCE: device contains, serially connected: first clamp, throttle, main lamp, current indicator and second clamp, impulse launching device; serially connected amplifier-limiter, input of which is connected to output of current indicator, commutator control circuit and commutator; backup lamp, connected on one side to second clamp through first closed commutator channel, on other side to main lamp in place where it is connected to throttle; power source, output of which is connected to power bus of amplifier-limiter, of commutator control circuit, to input of second closed commutator channel.

EFFECT: simplification of device, expanded working range of lamp currents.
