METHOD FOR CULTIVATION OF FARM CROPS, PREFERABLY WINTER WHEAT Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC A01B79/02 

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: method involves harvesting precursor crop; distributing non-grain part of yield along width of mown strip; shelling stubble and stubble remains; spraying herbicides onto rosettes of perennial bilobular weeds; performing early spring cultivation and leveling the relief of field; eliminating weedage in May-August periods; applying mineral fertilizers before terminating pre-sowing cultivation procedure; treating seeds; providing row sowing at spacing width of 15 cm; performing post-sowing rolling and eliminating soil crust; slitting soil to 0.40-0.45 m depth during late autumn period at stable minus air temperature of -3 - -10 C, with slit spacing making 1.4-2.8 m; making narrow 16-22 mm wide slits to 0.30-0.40 cm depth during second decade of May, with slit pitch making 1.4-2.8 m, said narrow slits extending perpendicular to slits provided during late autumn period. Slitting process is performed at the rate of 12-15 km/hour using wide tillage tools equipped with wheel tractors having widened tire which applies pressure lower than 0.65 MPa to soil surface. Cultivation procedure for elimination of weedage is performed using wide cultivator units at a pressure of tractor and cultivator wheel tires not in the excess of 0.45 MPa. Seeding of winter wheat seeds and post-sowing rolling process are performed using combined units applying tire pressure to soil not in the excess of 0.2-0.3 MPa.

EFFECT: increased yield of winter cereal crops and reduces effect of water and wind erosion processes.
