FIELD: confectionery industry.

SUBSTANCE: chewing gum composition adapted for removal of colorant contains effective amount of at least one colorant removing agent selected from the group consisting of anionogenic and non-ionogenic surfactants, said agent being encapsulated with hydrophilic encapsulating substance. Encapsulated agent intended for removal of colorant is available in such a manner that effective amount of colorant removing agent is capable of being released from said composition. Method for removal of pigment from teeth involves chewing effective amount of chewing gum composition adapted for removal of pigment. Method for producing of chewing gum adapted for removal of pigment involves adding encapsulated pigment removing agent during manufacture of chewing gum composition so that said agent is free within chewing gum composition and is effectively released therefrom during chewing. Confectionery composition for removal of pigment contains effective amount of at least one hydrophilic encapsulated pigment removing agent selected from the group consisting of anionogenic and non-ionogenic surfactants. Said encapsulated agent is available in such a manner that effective amount of said agent may be released from said composition. Another method for removal of pigment from teeth involves placing effective amount of pigment removing composition into mouth cavity for solving said composition with the result that large amount of said agent is effectively released from said composition.

EFFECT: increased efficiency in releasing of pigment removal agent from chewing gum composition.
