SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an encapsulated sweetener composition, a chewing gum composition, a method of preparing a chewing gum composition and a method of preparing an encapsulated sweetener composition. The inclusion of a sweetener encapsulated in poly(vinyl)acetate, filler and a fatty acid salt in chewing gum prolongs the release of a sweet taste than when the sweetener is encapsulated in poly(vinyl)acetate only.
EFFECT: group of inventions slows down the release of sweetener from chewing gum.
