FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: electric toothbrush has case, which forms hollow internal part, which contains engine. There is fist shaft in cavity. First shaft is functionally connected with engine. Case has engagement member passing along longitudinal axis of case from end of case. Engagement member has first thread passing along spiral around engagement member and brush head. Brush head has movable bristle holder at first end of brush head and second shaft functionally connected with movable bristle holder. Brush head has reception area at other end of brush head being opposite to first end. Reception area has engagement surface provided with second thread passing along spiral about circular engagement surface. First and second threads form threaded connection made for disconnection of brush head from handle when handle of brush head are turned along longitudinal axis. Second shaft is made for bend and it has lug. First shaft has slot, which slot make engagement with lug to connect first and second shafts.

EFFECT: improved reliability of engagement; small size; higher durability.
